Following proper stroke order is essential for legible, fast, and balanced calligraphy.

📐 The 3 Golden Rules of Devanagari Strokes

  1. 1. Curves & Loops First: Draw starting curves, arches, and central loops (e.g. the left circle of क, the arches of अ).
  2. 2. Vertical Standing Line (दंडी): Draw the vertical pillar from top to bottom through or adjacent to the loop.
  3. 3. Top Horizontal Bar (शिरोरेषा): Always draw the Shirorekha last, moving from left to right across the top of the character.
